Resolve a missed shift without duplicating hours

Managers and Organisation Admins can recover completed rostered shifts that have no linked timesheet. First confirm whether the team member worked and whether a clock entry already exists.

Create a missing timesheet

  1. Open Timesheets, select the relevant member and date range, then choose the Missed filter.
  2. Check the rostered shift. Choose Create on the row, or open it and choose Create timesheet.
  3. The new Pending record uses the shift's rostered start, finish and unpaid break minutes.
  4. Correct those values to the actual hours worked, then review and approve the record.

Match an existing clock entry instead

  1. On the missed row, choose Match.
  2. In Match missed shift, check the person's existing clock entries and select the one belonging to that shift.
  3. Check the linked record after saving. Matching connects the existing hours to the rostered shift instead of creating another record.

If the entry is absent, use All Statuses and a wider date range. Never create rostered hours merely to remove a missed warning when the person did not work. An active clock session should be resolved before creating a separate completed record.
