Create a new draft support schedule

NDIS Repeat Support is a separate optional organisation module. Super Admin grants it in Org Permissions or sets new-account defaults in Industry Templates. It is off for existing organisations unless explicitly enabled. The organisation must retain its enabled NDIS pack, participant capability and current role permission. Super Admin can explicitly assign suitable tools to another organisation without changing its industry. Managers can repeat only shifts at their assigned locations.

Choose and preview the repeats

  1. Open Manage → NDIS Support → Support shifts.
  2. Find a saved, configured support shift and choose Repeat support.
  3. Enter the First repeat date, Number of copies and Repeat every (weeks).
  4. Choose whether to retain the original worker after fresh eligibility checks. Clear that option for unassigned drafts.
  5. Review Draft schedule to create, then select Create draft support shifts.
  6. Wait for confirmation. Open Team Roster to review and publish the drafts when ready.

Create 1–12 copies at an interval of 1–8 weeks, with future dates within 700 days. Times retain the organisation's local wall clock across daylight saving changes. Invalid times and sleepovers shorter than eight actual hours are rejected.

What is retained and what is new

Drafts retain the source location, participant links, support type, support instructions and staff roles. Each has a new identifier and starts unpublished. Authored notes, journeys, awake records, roster notes, approval decisions and previous exception approvals are not copied.

Keeping a worker requires fresh checks of current membership, screening, verified qualifications valid through the new shift finish, exclusions, approved leave/unavailability and overlapping shifts. Repeating does not inherit a source's WARN exception. If the worker cannot safely be retained, review the failed check or create unassigned drafts and assign a suitable worker later.

If a save is interrupted

The source version, eligibility checks, drafts and audit records save together. A changed source, changed permission or changed eligibility refuses the entire operation. A failed audit does not leave partial drafts. Your form values remain after a rejected save.

If a connection ends before confirmation, retry with the same choices: the request returns its original saved result without creating duplicates. If your session expired, use the sign-in link in another tab and return to the same form. Check current roster records before starting a different request when the earlier outcome is unknown.

Generic week-copy and roster-template protections for support shifts remain unchanged. For the existing pack, see Managing NDIS Support.
